Cèsar Barceló (Banyeres de Mariola, Alacant, 1979)
With a degree in Fine Arts by Valencia’s Polytechnic University, he specialised in Illustrations and Creative Techniques at the Eina School in Barcelona.
He has illustrated for texts including Cocodrila Cocopau, una història foradada (Crocodile Cocopau, an outlaw story), 2004 (awarded the best illustrated book in Valencian); Travallengües, La dificultat com a repte(Tongue Twisters, Difficulty as a challenge), 2005; Els Habitants del planeta zero(The inhabitants of planet zero), 2006 and Gorki, 2007. Along with children’s projects in collaboration with Pep Sempere Studio, like the headers for the Ánimate and Hora Peque programs and educational pieces for the children’s program Los Algos, which is currently running on the Cuatro broadcasting station.
He has collaborated with Zas Studio creating posters, murals and illustrations. Also noteworthy are his illustrations made in 2006-2007 for the Mondo Freak section in La Milk trends magazine.
